3.1. Subscription to the Newsletter

  • Data collected via a form at the bottom of each page:
    • E-mail address
  • Purpose of processing: to regularly inform you of IntyEssentials news, product news and the latest current promotions.
  • Retention period: the Data is retained for a maximum period of 3 years.
  • Legal basis: consent.

3.2. Shopping cart management

  • Data collected from the shopping cart:

    • Password (optional, if creating an account)

    • Enterprise (optional)

  • Purpose of processing: to allow Internet users to contact our company and send us a free message directly from our website.
  • Retention period: Data is retained for a maximum period of 6 months after submission of the message.
  • Legal basis: execution of pre-contractual measures.

4. What are your rights and how can you assert them?

You have various rights:
  • Right of access: you have the right to consult your Data at any time and free of charge.
  • Right of rectification: you have the right to require that incorrect Data be corrected and that inappropriate or no longer necessary Data be deleted. We draw your attention to the fact that you are required at all times to verify the accuracy of the Data that you communicate to us.
  • Right to erasure: when you no longer wish your Data to be processed and you are eligible to request the right to erasure, we will then delete your Data from our database.

5. To whom can your data be transmitted?

We do not sell or otherwise disclose the Data we collect about you to third parties. In certain circumstances, our website provides you with tools for sharing to various social networks. If you choose to interact with a social networking site such as Facebook or Twitter, for example, certain Data (your IP address, the page from which you started interacting on our site, etc.) will be communicated to the social network concerned.

We do not transfer any of your data to third parties, except for the need to operate the site and its features. In this event, we work exclusively with third parties who are fully compliant with European data protection and privacy laws (GPDR compliant).

IntyEssentials' liability will be limited to direct damages, excluding any indirect damages. IntyEssentials may never be held liable for damages deemed indirect such as, without this list being exhaustive, loss of Data, financial or commercial damage, loss of profits, increase in overheads, disruption of planning.

Furthermore, IntyEssentials cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from illegitimate manipulation committed by third parties on the Data (Data theft, viruses, phishing or other computer crimes).

11. What happens in the event of a dispute?

First of all, you should contact the Data Controller (see point 4) or the Data Protection Officer (see point 5). If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority on which we depend, whose contact details are as follows:

12. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

These provisions will be governed, interpreted and executed in accordance with Belgian law, the only applicable law, in the event of a dispute. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably within a period not exceeding one month from its occurrence, this period being able to be extended by mutual agreement, may be brought by the most diligent party before the French-speaking Courts and Tribunals of the judicial district of Namur, which will have sole jurisdiction.

13. Effective Date

This Policy was created and is effective as of 10/15/2019. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this Policy at any time.
