What do you mean by "healthy"?
This is a product:
- Free of known synthetic, chemical irritants: no glycerin, glycols, Polyquaternium, menthol or other known chemical or natural irritants.
- Free from endocrine disruptors: parabens, grapefruit seed extract, etc.
- Free from petrochemical derivatives: no paraffin, mineral oils, petrolatum, or PEG, known for their cross-contamination by other chemical elements and their occlusive properties.
- Silicone-free: Although silicones used in lubricants have not been shown to be harmful to the body, they have been shown to be harmful to marine ecosystems because they accumulate. We preferred to avoid them in our formulation for this reason.

Is this product vegan?
This intimate lubricant is indeed vegan, it is formulated with 6 natural ingredients including Organic Aloe Vera and Carrageenan known for their moisturizing properties.
What do you mean by Osmolarity?
At IntyEssentials we have preferred to opt for alternatives to irritating chemical humectants and have adapted our osmolarity to a threshold slightly lower than that of human plasma to promote osmosis and ultimately hydration down to the cellular level. The adapted osmolarity also allows us not to compromise the motility of spermatozoa which would be slowed down in a hyperosmotic environment.
What do you mean by pH matched?
This means that our water-based lubricating gel is physiologically adapted to the vulvovaginal mucosa. It has been carefully designed to promote an ideal environment for the vaginal microbiota. Its pH of 4.2 corresponds to the natural pH of the vaginal environment which is generally between 3.5 and 4.5.
