Fewer symptoms, more pleasure
Congratulations! You're pregnant. Hopefully, your progesterone and estrogen levels are starting to drop (after skyrocketing early in pregnancy) and the drowsiness, fatigue, and nausea are slowly fading away. You're getting used to your new body and starting to see your belly peeking out a little more each day.
For many women, this period tends to coincide with the end of the first trimester or the beginning of the second trimester, usually around the 10th week, when we feel a little boost of energy and the probability and therefore the anxiety of having a miscarriage - which still affects 1 in 4 women - drops considerably.
A phase conducive to sensuality and sexual desire
This rather pleasant little period is a bit like a honeymoon during pregnancy. It's the perfect time to focus on relaxation by taking more naps or sleeping in on weekends or by taking warm baths (not longer than 10 to 20 minutes all the same) to relax all the muscles in your body.
